Dec. 14, 2022 I had a total shoulder replacement that Dr. Acevedo performed. Today was my 3 mth check up....my surgery site is practically invisible which I'm amazed at and my shoulder is so much better. I'm not in pain anymore ...sometimes just it aches and minimal discomfort. I had put this surgery off for more than 6 yrs....I can assure you this was the best decision I made....Dr Acevedo is the best. I recommend him wholeheartedly! He explains everything and treats you with courtesy and kindness. Had I not been so scared of this surgery...I can tell you I should have done it sooner. I'm so very pleased with the results and am so grateful for this doctor. I'm forever indebted to him.

If you’re thinking about shoulder surgery, Dr. Acevedo should be far, far at the top of your list of orthopedic surgeons. Unfortunately, I’m experienced with sports injuries - knees both sides, 5 total ops - and this my 2nd shoulder (only replacement). Far and away the best, most successful outcome of all 7 surgeries. Dr. Acevedo performed rotator cuff surgery and fixed a bicep tear for me and I couldn't be more pleased! I've had this done on my other shoulder and there was a lot of pain during recovery. But I experienced only mild pain the first few days, and then none for the remainder of my recovery from the surgery that Dr. Acevedo did. He is top-notch in his field and also has a wonderful bedside manner. I strongly recommend him to anyone contemplating surgery in his field.

I have had two surgeries by Dr. Acevedo. Bicep tear and tricep tear. He is an extremely talented physician. He is no nonsense in his bedside manner and I like that!
