Dr. Acevedo did my distal bicep repair. The whole thing was a whirlwind, tearing the bicep from the elbow in a freak accident. He got me into surgery the next day after my initial appointment. While it’s a painful surgery, I’m nearly back to 100%, and have been ahead of the scheduled timetables for this kind of procedure the whole time. He’s knowledgeable and precise, though a quick talker, he’s happy to elaborate when you need more explanation.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement with the doctor 5/10/23. I had a good experience and recovery. He is a personable doctor who answers your questions and supports your recovery. I used his app to do my physical therapy at home. If I ever needed another shoulder surgery, I would want this great doctor…Dr Acevedo.

I moved from a Dr. who said I needed surgery to Dr. Acevedo and I’m so glad I went to him for a second opinion! This is almost a 40 year old injury that keeps getting aggravated and I thought surgery was the answer, but Dr. Acevedo changed that for me!! He set me up with the PT app at home and I was able to condition the pain away. It’s 90% better. I still won’t be repetitively reaching up, but that’s just my injury and I know that.
