I had a separated, atrophied rotator cuff on my right shoulder. Dr. Acevedo monitored my condition for several years, occasionally administering injections when the pain was too much. He finally convinced me to have a reverse shoulder replacement surgery. The surgery has been successful in that my pain level is non-existent or minimal after years of often intense pain. With physical therapy and my home exercise program I now have an adequate range of motion. Dr. Acevedo has been thoroughly professional but his easy reassuring manner can be a comfort.

Dr. Acevedo is excellent in what he does! He’s done my rotator cuff as well as a reverse replacement and I’d trust no one but him. His knowledge of the newest up and coming procedures is incredible. How kind and thorough he is. If I could give him 20 stars I would. When I was assigned to Dr. Acevedo for shoulder replacement I was told multiple times that he was the BEST doctor for that that anyone had EVER seen. And I believe it!

Dec. 14, 2022 I had a total shoulder replacement that Dr. Acevedo performed. Today was my 3 mth check up....my surgery site is practically invisible which I'm amazed at and my shoulder is so much better. I'm not in pain anymore ...sometimes just it aches and minimal discomfort. I had put this surgery off for more than 6 yrs....I can assure you this was the best decision I made....Dr Acevedo is the best. I recommend him wholeheartedly! He explains everything and treats you with courtesy and kindness. Had I not been so scared of this surgery...I can tell you I should have done it sooner. I'm so very pleased with the results and am so grateful for this doctor. I'm forever indebted to him.

Broke my collarbone and he did a great job fixing it, he explains everything so it’s easy to understand and he’s a cool guy I highly recommend him.

Total shoulder replacement, 6 weeks out and have reached 75% of my FINAL motion targets, no pain. If you’re thinking about shoulder surgery, Dr. Acevedo should be far, far at the top of your list of orthopedic surgeons. Unfortunately, I’m experienced with sports injuries - knees both sides, 5 total ops - and this my 2nd shoulder (only replacement). Far and away the best, most successful outcome of all 7 surgeries.
